Aerosols generated during regular life activity even such as exhaling air may contain number of pathogens sufficient to infect another person in the room. It is particularly important in prevention of spread of airborne infectious diseases such as known tuberculosis, measles, chickenpox, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), middle east respiratory syndrome (MERS), flues, and a newcomer COVID-19. Improvements in building ventilation systems are one of them. Some changes are temporary and will fade away with success of vaccine that will be available sooner than later.
